Jonty has been fascinated by the photographic image since he was 12 when he set up his first darkroom at boarding school.
He commandeered a water tank room behind his dormitory from where he taught himself to process and print films from his first camera, a Kodak Instamatic 33.
In the mid-70s he launched a London-based conference production company, heading it up for 12 years. These were the days of "AV", when speaker-support material comprised 35mm slides produced on specialist rostrum cameras.
Since the late 80s, Jonty has been an independent conference producer, photographer and film-maker, working with production houses, FTSE-listed & blue-chip companies, organisations & government bodies in the UK and abroad.
He has extensive knowledge of the differing client requirements, from shooting war games aboard warships in the Mediterranean; launching sewing machines in Germany; touring a fundraising event for the World Bank; to producing Microsoft UK's intranet TV channel - UTV.
